Giving
We want to be a generous people, providing our church communities with the resources to do what we believe God has called us to do and to do them well, as well as to demonstrate God's generosity outside this church in what we give away. The Bible clearly teaches the principle of giving, and money is just one, yet vital, demonstration of commitment to the work, ministry and mission of the church to which we belong. For us money means ministry and mission.
Whether tithing as defined in the Old Testament (10% of gross income), or giving above and beyond this, in this age of grace, the Bible says that "each [person] should give what they have decided in their heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).
If possible, set up a regular standing order form available from the Parish office, welcome desks and web - page.
